Meet The Owner
Our company is built on the belief that craftsmanship is more than a skill — it is a commitment. A commitment to quality, integrity, and showing up every day with the intention of doing things the right way.
That philosophy starts with our owner, Steve Chorney.
Steve’s journey began in the United States Marine Corps, where he served from 1999 to 2004 with the Fleet Anti‑Terrorism Security Team (FAST) and the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines. During three overseas deployments, he learned the principles that now guide our carpentry work daily: discipline, precision, accountability, and mission‑first thinking.
When Steve returned home to Massachusetts, he transitioned into the construction and carpentry industry — a field where his dedication to detail and mastery immediately found a home. For decades, he has owned and operated construction businesses rooted in strong workmanship and client‑focused service. Carpentry became more than a trade; it became a craft he continues to refine.
As a Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu Black Belt and longtime national competitor, Steve brings the same mindset to his carpentry work that he brings to the mat: technique matters, repetition builds mastery, and improvement never stops.
